ASCII Scene widget for Windows

A small window of calm made entirely of text characters. Pick a scene (the Earth rising over the moon, a starfield rushing past, rain, a crackling campfire or a moonlit sea) and it animates quietly in the corner of your dashboard. Colour it like an old terminal in green, amber or cyan, or match your theme, and set the speed and text size. It fills whatever space you give it, pauses when the window is hidden, and holds still if your system asks for reduced motion.
