File Shelf widget for Windows
A holding area between drag-and-drop operations. Drop a file on the shelf from Explorer, your Downloads, anywhere, and it waits there until you have the destination open. Then drag it off - it is a real Windows drag, so it lands in Explorer, Gmail, Slack, a browser upload, Photoshop. Nothing is copied or moved; the shelf only remembers where the file is, and flags it if it goes missing.
