Rain Radar widget for Windows
Pick a city and the tile shows the rain around it, looping through the last two hours of radar in ten-minute steps so you can see which way it is moving. Pause the loop or drag the timeline to any frame, and zoom with the buttons on the map, from a whole continent down to your town. The map follows your theme or uses a light, dark or street style, with town names drawn above the rain, and you can set how strongly the radar shows over it. Radar comes from RainViewer and the map from Esri, both free with no account or key. It refreshes every few minutes and pauses while the dashboard is hidden.
