Sound Recorder widget for Windows

Press the red button and talk. The clock runs, the meter follows your voice, and when you stop the clip is saved as a file and listed under the deck with its length and size. Pick which microphone to use, pause and resume mid-take, and have long recordings stop themselves at a limit you set. Every clip plays back in place, renames in place, and can be dragged straight out of the widget into Slack, an email, or a folder, because it is a real file on your disk and not something inside the app.

Record a custom alert in your own voice and set it on the reminder that matters

The bell on a clip copies it into your alert sound library, so a reminder can play your own voice saying what it is for, and a timer can end with whatever you recorded. Deleting is one click backed by ten seconds of Undo. Recordings are webm/opus, the format Windows, browsers and chat apps all play; Save a copy writes one wherever you like.
