Top Processes widget for Windows
Temperature and usage widgets tell you the machine is busy; this one tells you who. Every couple of seconds it ranks running programs by CPU or memory, grouping the forty Chrome helpers into one Chrome row the way Task Manager does, and draws a usage bar behind each. Hover a row and an End button appears; click it twice (the first click asks) and every process in that group is ended. System pseudo-processes like Idle and Memory Compression are filtered out so the list only ever shows things you could actually do something about.
